A. M. Flowers

Gothic and literary fiction, psychological mysteries, poetry, and stories that linger beyond the last page.

A. M. Flowers has long been fascinated by the complexities of human nature—the memories we carry, the truths we conceal, and the ways our experiences shape who we become. These interests find their way into her fiction, poetry, and art, where the familiar often gives way to something less easily explained.

She holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Counseling. Her professional background includes years of teaching, as well as therapeutic work incorporating traditional talk therapy and expressive arts approaches. This experience has given her a particular appreciation for the subtleties of human behavior, the emotional lives of others, and the stories that often remain untold.

As the creative force behind Arc & Hive Press, an independent literary and creative house, Flowers brings these interests together through storytelling and visual art. Her work invites readers to look beneath the surface, where imagination meets the more elusive aspects of the human experience.
